Hand supports can be very good at what they do. The choice, though, has often been between support and something that feels natural, personal and wearable.

That can make a support something you put up with rather than something you like. RING ORTHO explores a different relationship between the two: a piece can be built for function and still be something you are glad to put on.

We start with the joint: where it sits, how it moves, and what the piece is intended to support. Only then do we refine the form.

Proportions stay slim. Surfaces are smooth and polished. Lines run continuous, with nothing added for show. The result is quiet. A RING ORTHO piece should look like something deliberately designed, not a conventional brace made smaller.

Every design comes in 925 sterling silver or brass. Silver is cool, bright and classic. Brass has a warm, golden tone. The design is the same in either. Compare the two.

Each piece is made to order, in your metal and your sizes, in Jaipur, India, by a jewelry maker with around eight years of experience. Making one at a time lets us look after proportion, finish and comfort piece by piece. It takes 1–3 business days to prepare your order, then 7–14 days for delivery. Duties and customs charges are included.

Finger and joint anatomy varies, and a splint that passes over a joint has to fit on both sides of it. So we design sizing in from the start, not as an afterthought. Many designs ask for two sizes, one above the joint and one below, in US sizes 0 to 16 in quarter steps.
