Designed for

The Thumb MCP Splint is designed around the thumb MCP joint. The reference describes it for mild hyperextension (less than 15°), with a bracelet used to stabilize the splint and supports that can be added for lateral deviation. It is not effective if the MCP joint lacks passive flexion.

A polished, V-shaped wire form wraps the thumb and connects by a chain to a bracelet.
