The Stable Thumb Splint is designed around the thumb MCP joint. The reference describes versions with and without a proximal volar extension (PVX) for hyperextension and hyperflexion of the thumb MCP joint, with different lengths and levels of lateral stability.

A grid-textured plate rises from a polished thumb ring and connects with a chain bracelet at the wrist.
